The Alpha CLR1 is a popular choice for our entry-level customer, due to its compact size and remarkable sound characteristics. Despite its "center" designation, the CLR1 is well suited for center, left and right (front) as its model number suggests. The D'Appolito speaker array employs a single .75-inch ferrofluid-cooled, aluminum dome tweeter flanked by a pair of 3.25-inch mid-woofers to create a wide soundstage with increased on and off axis performance. Designed to be wall-mounted or placed into an entertainment/media center makes them perfect for rooms with various seating positions or out-of-the-ordinary architecture. Matched with one of our compact subwoofers, the CLR1 is an extraordinary loudspeaker.
